Excerpt: Chap. 19, pt. 1, The Ordination of the Twelve
Son of Man: Urantia, 2nd ed.

In the face of trials and persecutions, he said, 'My peace I leave with you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.' This is a positive act of peace that prevents damaging conflicts. Personal peace integrates one's personality. Social peace prevents fear, greed, and anger. Political peace prevents war and racism. Peacemaking is the cure for distrust. Children can easily be taught to be peacemakers through team activities and playing together.
