Boétie Legacy and a World in Peril is my first novel.
Legacy combines my doctorate work on civil disobedience against violent oppression with three key concepts from the Urantia Revelation:
1. The fact that we are each forming unique eternal souls in direct partnership with God. This places our personal spiritual future fully in our control through the choices we make. No one, nor any religious institution, has any say what-so-ever in a person’s relationship with God.
2. That after death, while we rebirth in the Morontia Realm in a slightly different body, we do so at exactly the same level of spiritual development we had when we died. Our spiritual progression has to be earned: Nothing is given freely. Our choices here on Earth matter, and in a very real way condition our future growth.
3. That our world will stay at war until humanity claims sovereignty over the planet and all governments, institutions, and religions are subservient to our collective will. To begin that process, I offer the idea of a People’s Global Mandate based on our world’s highest shared values and enforced through non-centralized civil disobedience.
Sexual Content:
The Boétie Legacy and a World in Peril contains graphic sexual scenes only suitable for a mature audience.
The Amazon blurb for, The Boétie Legacy and a World in Peril:
The Boétie Legacy, and a World in Peril, is political fiction set in a contemporary romance between Jo Novak and Luke Canton in Granada, Nicaragua, who are meeting the challenges of a mature sexual relationship while living abroad in one of the poorest countries in the Western hemisphere. Legacy explores the popular myths in the United States fueling perpetual war and the rise of nonviolent conflict over the last century as the most powerful transformational force on earth. Kezer then argues that humanity can soon claim ultimate sovereignty over the planet, and he builds the case for launching the Project for a People’s Global Mandate (PPGM) to do so.
